Meet the Owner! On Friday, November 20th from 5-8, owner Ann Skidmore will join us along with Maryann Hairfield, the National Sales Manager for Arte Italica.

Ann Skidmore formed Arte Italica in 1997, as a response to her love of Italian history, culture, art and especially vintage pewter. Finding it difficult to acquire in the United States, she began importing this fine Italian pewter. Soon, she was designing and importing handcrafted ceramics, glass and bronze. In 2000, Ann and Arte Italica became the first to combine pewter and ceramic into beautiful and unique dinnerware and accessories. And at Cover Story, every Bridal Registry we have includes Arte Italica! Arte Italica makes a beautiful, heirloom quality gift.

Holiday Stroll on over!

So we'll see you on Friday night, right? Of course we will, because it seems like everyone is downtown for the Holiday Stroll and most of them are at Cover Story! And that's just the way we like it.

Join LAVA for the 6th Annual Holiday Stroll with live entertainment from choral groups and free carriage rides. The Village Association is sponsoring this fun and festive evening, with participating stores serving treats and beverages until 8. Cover Story will naturally be looking sparkly and will be pouring vino until 8. Stop by and do your Christmas shopping at Cover Story.

To add to the evening we will be showcasing our beautiful traditional hand made wooden German Smokers, Nutcrackers, Music Boxes and Pyramids. Hand crafted in the rich tradition which developed over centuries in the Erzgebirge Mountains, KWO's attention to detail is surpassed by none. Our many enthusiastic collectors look forward to choosing from our large selection of these beautiful and traditional symbols of Christmas in the old world.
