Our feature store this month is Cover Story, located in Northern California. Craig Cousins, owner, has been a customer of Arte Italica for 10 of Cover Story’s 15 years in existence. Since its inception, the store has been home to the finest collections for the home; including fine linens, tabletop, home décor, personal care and seasonal gifts and décor. Cover Story has been the place to go in Northern California for gifts and personal indulgences. This year, Cover Story proudly opened a 2nd location in Los Gatos, CA. This location is a destination shopping experience and gives shoppers a full range of beautiful brands including a showcase of Arte Italica.
In addition to their retail stores, Cover Story offers expert, in-home design consultation, where they assist their customers with a variety of interior decorating services. Debi Campbell and her team of design consultants are available for in-home design services and they are “bursting with ideas to help decorate, celebrate and gather with the ones you love”. Whether you’re designing a room or a house, planning an intimate dinner party or large event, Cover Story will make it extraordinary!
Cover Story also offers a full service website, including a Wedding and Gift registry where consultants will “guide you through the process of creating the perfect registry of your dreams, with gifts you will cherish for a lifetime.” They also participate in social media to connect with their customers and community. You can find them on Facebook, Twitter and Yelp, which continue to grow with followers in addition to their blog, which they update regularly.
Events are a big part of what makes Cover Story great. According to Craig “our events are always a huge celebration where hundreds of people join us to celebrate all the seasons and to meet and learn about our wonderful suppliers. We partner with local charities on many of our events and since our inception we have donated over $175,000 to local schools and charities.”
