Bold blooms burst forth from the 100% Italian woven Egyptian cotton percale in a riot of color. Large lilac flowers, dotted with greens and blues, dance across the duvet covers and shams, which have flanged edges and are finished with a plain hem, for understated elegance. From Peter's Spring 2010 Collection, the pattern of chrysanthemums are done in the classic 1940 Parisian illustrations, which brings a splashy yet sophisticated feel to the bed linens.

Description/Taste/Of Elephant Heart Plums

Heart-shaped with mottled dark reddish-crimson colored skin, the rich firm flesh of the elephant heart plum is, of course, blood red and very juicy. One of the best tasting of all plums, it offers an extremely sweet flavor. This flavorful Japanese variety has a nice just-right balance between sweet and tart. These plums are clingstone fruits, that is, their flesh clings to the pit.

Master Distiller Davorin Kuchan is a third generation winemaker and distiller born in Zagreb, Croatia. A prodigal son and an unwavering optimist, Davorin decided to return to childhood family roots after 20 years in California. Overheard frequently claiming that California is “heaven on earth”, Davorin grew up running through the family vineyards and orchards (much faster after sneaking sips of slivovitz and grappa from the 200 year old family still).

When we say "an exclusive release" we mean just that. Elephant Heart Plum Luqueur is a small batch release exclusively for COVER STORY, just 50 bottles!!! These Elephant Heart Plums were grown by a family owned producer in the foothills of the Sierra Nevada's.

This is a 6 year old double barrel aged blend of Kuchan Alambic Brandy and was produced at Old World Spirits from California Zinfandel grapes.

“Good Stuff Needs NO Special Effects" to the point of actually trade marking it.

To go along with this exciting event, Gourmet Works will be infusing this Elephant Heart Plum Liqueur into decadent dark chocolate truffles!

We will also be serving appetizers from Pompeii! Delicious Italian Food

in beautiful Downtown Los Altos!
